Neal Kaufman, M.D., M.P.H. – Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Neal is an experienced clinician, educator, and leader in local, state and national efforts to improve the health of vulnerable individuals and communities. He is an innovator in internet and cell phone solutions that enable clinicians to help patients to adopt and sustain health-promoting behaviors and improve long-term health outcomes. Additionally, Neal is an expert in a range of areas including educating patients and healthcare providers, improving the provision of health and social services, and creating innovative solutions to complex problems. In 2004, after his 27-year career in academic general pediatrics, Neal co-founded DPS Health to help at risk individuals by creating technological solutions to prevent or treat chronic disease. He is co-founder of the UCLA Center for Healthier Children, Families and Communities, and is a Professor of Pediatrics and Public Health at the UCLA Schools of Medicine and Public Health.



Adam Kaufman, Ph.D. – Co-Founder and President

Adam, a pioneer of self-management support technology for the healthcare industry, is a scholar and practitioner of new technologies in healthcare. He brings to DPs Health a decade experience in technological entrepreneurship and system development. Prior to DPS Health, Adam served as COO of ErgoTouch, where he was responsible for developing relationships with vendors, managing operations and enhancements of the eCommerce website, overseeing logistics, and supporting sales and marketing. Additionally, Adam worked in Monterrey, Mexico, for the CEMEX company, Arkio, as the eBusiness manager, where he leveraged the company’s resources, logistics and IT expertise to increase efficiency in its electronic storefronts. Adam received a Ph.D. in Applied Micro-Economics with focus in Health from the University of Southern California, and a B.S. in Economics and B.A.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Upon graduating, he received a Fulbright Scholarship for work and study in Mexico.



George Kingston – Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining DPS Health, among many prestigious positions, George served as vice-president of treasury and administration at Mattel Toys. He brings to DPS Health a broad base of experience in all aspects of business planning, reporting, and strategic improvement in business processes.

Raul Espinosa – Director, Development

Raul brings to DPS Health a wealth of experience in software solution architecture and development management. Before joining DPS Health, Raul was an IT manager for Cemex, one of the largest cement companies in the world where he managed a number of implementation projects. He managed a team developing and implementing both legacy software and internet technologies. He received his B.S. in computer science from the Monterrey Technical Institute.

Rob Morphew – Director, Program Management

Prior to joining DPS Health, Rob was a project manager and software architect for a web-based asthma risk assessment portal. He has also worked in the oil and gas industry as an expert in real-time software systems and implementing product as a software service. He has a B.S. in computer science with a minor in math, from Central Washington University.

Paula Woodley – Director, Marketing Communications

Paula is a communications professional with over two decades experience. Prior to joining DPS Health, she ran a successful boutique marketing and advertising agency with a diverse client base, and served as the vice-president of communications at Forest Lawn Memorial Parks & Mortuaries. Additionally, Paula is a long-standing adjunct faculty member at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, where she also received a Master’s degree in Communication. She has a B.A. in Communication from California State University, Fullerton.

Frank Lagattuta – Director, Business Development

Prior to joining DPS Health, Frank was a long-time executive with Xerox eventually rising to become the President of Xerox Computer Services, an ERP software company. He has also founded a successful, venture-backed networking company. He has over 30 years of management level experience selling software and other high-technology products. Mr. Lagattuta holds a BS degree in accounting from Canisius College, in Buffalo NY and a MBA from University of Southern California (USC).

Lisa Samuelson – Director, Product Development

Lisa brings to DPS Health 15 years of healthcare-related project management experience. Prior to joining DPS Health, she served as Director, Project Management and then as a product management consultant for Pfizer Health Solutions where she led the design and development of care management software for chronic conditions, including diabetes, asthma and depression. Lisa received a B.S. in biomedical computing from Rochester Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.

Jennifer Levin, Ph.D. – Director, Clinical Operations

Jennifer has her doctorate in Public Health and is a certified life coach (CPCC) with extensive experience in program design and evaluation. She brings a wealth of knowledge on health education and health promotion to DPS Health. Prior to joining DPS Health, Jennifer maintained a private life coaching practice and worked on various health promotion projects and clinical trials at UCLA. She received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Public Health and her life coaching certification from the Coaches Training Institute.
