| Five years ago, DPS Health began an important journey to create a new
and innovative way for physicians and other clinical staff to help overweight and sedentary
adults lose weight to improve their health. We were in good company. |

| The University of Pittsburgh, under a federal research grant from the
National Institutes of Health, developed a weight management approach -- the Diabetes
Prevention Program (DPP). The DPP proved that overweight and sedentary adults could be
counseled to eat better, be more active and lose enough weight to improve their long-term
health. |

| The challenge was bringing the benefits of the DPP to enough patients at
an affordable cost. Researchers translated the DPP to an online environment and working
with DPS Health, used the Behavior Change Suite™, our proprietary software platform, to
effectively deliver benefits of the DPP to a broad population.

Out of that effort, the Virtual Lifestyle Management™ (VLM) service was
born.
The VLM is a powerful tool for providers who want to effectively help their patients
lose weight while also increasing the efficiency of their weight management programs.
DPS Health has a license to bring the DPP to patients through the VLM service. |

| This is an exciting time to be offering the VLM to our partners.
There are prospects for fundamental changes to the healthcare system, particularly with
respect to how the clinical care team is compensated for the services they provide.
Right now, is it hard to predict just where this reform will lead us, but I know that
physician organizations that begin the process of modernizing their health promotion
activities will be better positioned to take advantage of future compensation models. |
